With the onset of the viral blog with rowdy comments on Filipino food, all I can say is that the bloggers are entitled to their own opinions, after all they are just humans who just want to share their experiences and travails. But I believe that travel humbles people. They, being an experience wanderlust and proclaimed vagabond travelers should have considered the cultural aspects of the food they ate and not just the taste and appearance of it.
Filipino food is not tatty and tasteless, ipso facto:
Resorts World Manila’s (RWM) signature dish, Chicken Pork Adobo Laguna Cheese Pizza or “CPA,” is fast becoming a favorite among foreigners and locals alike for its unique Filipino taste.

A regular carbonara
A hand-tossed pizza crust is topped with strips of chicken and pork adobo that rest on a creamy layer of melted mozzarella and Laguna cheese, the latter named after the Philippine province where it originates, known for its carabao-milk soft cheese called “kesong puti” (white cheese).
Next time you visit Philippines, feel free to explore every restaurant that serves ADOBO and you'll discover the diversity that depicts the mixed cultural influence in our pinoy dishes presaged by the taste, presentation and recipe. :)
