Swagat

Busy Day at work and I couldn't think of anything to eat,  out of the blue I craved for an Indian food. I've heard from our Indian guests that an Indian resto is present nearby my workplace I've never been to the place as I don't usually go out but I've heard about this restaurant many times already. Swagat in Hindi language means 'welcome' it is owned by an Indian couple and they serve home-cooked meals especially cooked by the owner herself with an affordable price compared to other Indian restos. But since the ingredients are imported from India expect the food to be a little expensive and  in small servings.

I was ready to order Chicken Kadai but I absent mindedly ordered murgh tandoori instead as 'twas stuck in my mind. I wanted my chicken served spicy, but when it came I was a bit disappointed as it was not spicy nevertheless it still tasted great. I love the shrimps in my biryani rice, the rice is also very tasty but not that appealing as I'm used to eating plain rice. Besides it was not as yummy as shrimp biryani with raisins and almonds of Kashmir :P
I love naan cheese bread. But their naan is not as delicious as compared to Bollywood's.

Naan or Nan originally came from Central Asia, it is a leavened bread or oven baked flatbread, another well known kind of flatbread is chapati which is flatter than naan. Nan was a general term for various flatbreads from different parts of the world. The name stems from (new) Persian, itself from Sanskrit nayan; being a generic word for bread. The bread is usually served with curry dishes.

HALLMARK CAFE @ Hallmark Hotel
Breakfast was simple and very awesome! I even love the small cafe, the morning feeling of waking up in a different country at peace and I even like the cute cup and saucers they have plus they serve unlimited coffee. And one fact to know is Malaysian coffees are known to be strong with a aromatic superb taste.

Sausage and veggies, the veggie was great and it tasted so excellent
Pad thai and Fried rice with spices and nuts
I wasn't able to taste these because i was so full already, but it looked so undeniably appetizing
Hallmark Cafe serves simple Malaysian-Indian food

Can't believe I love the vegetable they serve.

Batu Cave

The Batu Caves are situated thirteen kilometers (seven miles) north of the capital city Kuala Lumpur. They are the sacred place for the Hindu's in Malaysia.
They consist of three main caves and a number of smaller ones. The caves are made of limestone and 400 meters long and 100 meter high and they were discovered in 1892.
Batu Cave is famous for having the largest golden statue of Lord Muruga
Nature scenery. Nature CAVE and Monkey and Pigeon
You have to climb 272 steps

Beware: though the monkeys are not harmless, don't show them a lot of foods or any drinks because they would all come to you to ask for the food. You would not want to be surrounded by monkeys and cause a riot.

sexy butt

Very Indian atmosphere
Every day there is a little celebration of a group of Hindus in the Batu Caves.
When you are lucky you can see a Indian Wedding Ceremony in one of the temples in the place.

Bugis Street Market

BUGIS STREET MARKET

Bugis is originally named after the bloodthirsty race of pirates who prowled in the Straits before the arrival of the British. The area where Bugis Junction now stands was the original home of Singapore's small Hainanese community. Great place to shop for souvenir items and other trendy cheap things. The place is always crowded but you can find a lot of restaurant that can give you a pause for relaxation and great food.

If you ain't familiar with the place you can check this directory to locate stores and shopping categories. They also provide map on how to get to Bugis so anyone can conveniently get to the area.

Little Red Dot
This restaurant is along the walkway so it's easy to see. As soon as you walk in the this resto you'll notice how it looks like an old-fashioned cowboy style place with wooden walls and wooden tables and chairs. The place is not airconditioned but the main door and facade is widely open you can feel the busy air outside.
The fries were sooo good and the sandwich toast was perfect

Fatty loin chops with white onions
I swear this dish is very tasty yet it gave me a woozy feeling because of the fat and oil. My friends ordered this dish twice as they were so into the exquisite taste of it.
With my friends, I was so hungry that time I wanted to eat everything but the resto's table is so small 'twas so hard to eat. Ate ren and I were already elbow to elbow seated together we have to eat using one hand only. And funny thing was they gave us no plate, we have to eat using a chinese small bowl.
Inside the bugis market LOL!
The place is like Thailand's chatuchak ( Jatujak; Thai: จตุจักร ) weekend market, only some of the store's are airconditioned and it's easier to move around even if it gets crowded.

We rode the cab going to Bugis, we hardly use the MRT as my travel mates are not that adventurous. After the Bugis adventure we decided to go to Mustafa, and decided to take the MRT for the first time. What I've noticed was all Singaporeans seemed to be always in a hurry. Everyone walked so fast in the MRT area it felt like my world was woozily moving fast. I took a halt every time 'cos my feet was soar from all the walks but indeed it was fun.
The day was like an amazing race, and I don't know why the hell on earth was I carrying my leather bag which was so heavy. I didn't want to carry plastics for the things I bought so I bought a cheap bag to put everything in it

Chinta Manis

Terminal 2, Changi International Airport (Airport Blvd.)

I don't know if this is a dessert or an appetizer, it tasted nice but I just wanted to eat something else.

The first thing one would have in mind seeing this is, why is everything in orange color? Heavy meal, the rice was so good and the chicken and the shrimp. Malaysians appreciate it if you take a liking of their local dishes, one essential thing during travel is the appreciation of local dishes which is part of the place' culture.

Chili's Grill and Bar

Chilli's is the best place to eat with your mates. Their awesome food and nice atmosphere will definitely boost your appetite.

Grilled chicken very flavory

Burgoo

This was not my first time in Burgoo, I've been here for quite a few times since my cousin ate lala loves to treat me anywhere that is nice to eat at. This time I was with my friend Arene, after a long tiring day of applying for a Masters Degree course without having breakfast we've decided to eat at the nearest mall we could find.
Burgoo serves American country style dishes which compared in paramount is cheaper than TGI Fridays.
American Platter consists of buffalo wings, fries and onion rings
All tables are covered by a large piece of white paper, you could ask for crayons and draw doodles on your table while waiting for your order.

The foods here are usually dry but one exceptional pasta to try is Grilled Chicken Alfredo served with garlic sticks and grated Parmesan cheese.

Ground Zero Lucena

Lucena today is a fast growing city, but still  the  Spanish - Chinese influences remained and is still present to the place' culture, building structures and architectures plus the religion and the people.
Most old Spanish houses are built of Narra and other high class dark woods, with chandeliers and lights that give a dim light effect. The windows are wide and big designed with capiz shells and the furniture are also of Narra and forest woods.
My day wouldn't be complete without a hot coffee :)

This is a folded pizza
Ravioli soooo cheeessy
What I've noticed was, they all tasted the same (hehehe) must be because they put the same sauce.
