The City of Tagaytay (Filipino: Lungsod ng Tagaytay) is a component city in the province of Cavite, in the Philippines. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations because of outstanding scenery and cooler climate provided by its high altitude. Tagaytay overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas and provides one of the iconic views of the Philippines, the view of Taal Volcano Island in the middle of the lake, viewable from several vantage points in the city.

Tagaytay is relatively close to the capital city of Manila, only 55 km (34 mi) away via Aguinaldo Highway, providing an easy escape for the locals from the heat of the big city. More info here

Leslie's restaurant is one of the most famous in Tagaytay because of its good food, ambience and fantastic views of the Taal Lake and volcano.

Sweet and Sour Lapu-Lapu. This fish in english is called Grouper, can be found in Philippines and is quite expensice due to its delicious taste. This fish shouldn't be confused with Lapu-Lapu (1491–1542), the ruler of Mactan, an island in the Visayas, Philippines, who is known as the first native of the archipelago to have resisted the Spanish colonization. He is now regarded, retroactively, as the first Filipino hero. He is also known under the names Çilapulapu, Si Lapulapu, and Kali Pulako (alternatively spelled as Cali Pulaco),though the historicity of the names are disputed.

PINAKBET or pakbet is a popular Ilokano dish, from the northern regions of the Philippines, although it has become popular throughout the archipelago. The word is the contracted form of the Ilokano word pinakebbet, meaning "shrunk" or "shriveled". The original Ilokano pinakbet uses bagoong, of fermented monamon or other fish, while further south, bagoong alamang is used. The basic vegetables used in this dish include native bitter melon, eggplant, tomato, okra, string beans, chili peppers, parda, winged beans, and others. Root crops and some beans like camote, patani, kadios are also optionally added. The young pod of marunggay is also added.

Bulalo or Beef Bone Marrow

Many cultures have used bone marrow as food throughout history. Anthropologists believe that early humans were scavengers rather than hunters in some regions of the world. Marrow would have been a useful food source (largely due to its fat content) for tool-using hominids, who were able to crack open the bones of carcasses left by apex predators such as lions.

In Vietnam, beef bone marrow is used as the soup base for the national staple dish, phở, while in the Philippines, the soup bulalo is made primarily of beef stock and marrow bones, seasoned with vegetables and boiled meat; a similar soup in the Philippines is called kansi. In Indonesia, bone marrow is called sumsum and can be found especially in Minangkabau cuisine. Sumsum is often cooked as soup or as gulai (a curry-like dish). In India and Pakistan, slow-cooked marrow is the core ingredient of the dish nalli nihari.

Merlion Park and the afternoon mist

Such a peaceful stroll in Merlion Park, you can feel the wind and the breeze of the water that the mouth of Merlion constantly churns out, it is in fact seawater brought in by subterranean water pumps. The water jet is quite strong that during a breezy day, the water mist could be felt from some distance away. The much celebrated emblem of Singapura is adjacent to One Fullerton at the Marina Bay waterfront by which is also somewhat a tourist spot facing the view of Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer. The skies, the wind and the heat could make you feel like a real tourist exploring a man made nature wonder in a modern city.

This billboard of Mario the hottest Penshoppe endorser is along Edsa. As much as possible I don't take bus when travelling from work to home, but since I won't be able to snap the smiling face by riding a taxi I intentionally rode the bus. 

I actually am starting to hate Mario Maurer.

This image can bring you time and bliss to contemplate on things, a quietude of a moment and surprise that a busy street could also be magical when all the noise gradually fades away as if in slow motion, and the dusk comes in giving you peace. Captivated, indeed you'll have an enchanted sleep.

TAKEN

This is my favorite action movie. I always watch this every time we need to go out of the country. This reminds me to be cautious and to use radar intuition and commonsense. Perfect movie to watch for first time travelers.  nothing much, I just love it. I want same skill Liam Neeson's character has.

After the phenomenal success of the 2009 thriller Taken, which grossed $224 million worldwide, a sequel was only a matter of time. Liam Neeson announced the sequel was officially happening in March, and mentioned that it might be his character that gets abducted in the sequel. Maggie Grace, who played Neeson's daughter in the original, was announced as returning a month later.
Just a few days ago, 20th Century Fox announced the release date for Taken 2, which will arrive on October 5, 2012.
Now we known what the sequel will be about with the release of the official synopsis.

So near... Yet so far...

Now, this event was my first time to ever stalk and become a super gaga fan. And I was very disappointed for I've seen our beloved Mario only from afar, well leastwise we're both right at the same place haha. Some times i'll have thoughts like, if ever I am not a working person, i might be now a psycho lunatic fan of Mario Maurer and i'll stalk him wherever he goes. Kidding and speechy bombing! I went to the event with my friend Maan along with our hopeful thoughts we could have a Photo Op with Mario, unluckily when we arrived, all front seats were already seated, well there were some vacant seats in front but they do have the freaking cut-off time, much to our dismay.We're almost near Mario....We've seen him from afar and Maan and I felt like crying when Mario chose some fans to come to stage. Why not us Mario!?
